FAQ: Is it normal for only one of the two fans in my N3300A load mainframe to be working?

Yes. this is normal only when slots 1 and 2 are occupied. Then only one fan will run. If there are more than 2 slots occupied in the mainframe and only one fan is running, the mainframe needs to be serviced.
